
Abby Alford, Vice President at Stream Realty Partners, is a respected leader in Houston’s commercial real estate market, recognized for delivering strategic advisory and brokerage solutions that support complex business objectives with clarity, integrity, and care. With deep market expertise and a thoughtful, results-driven approach, Abby partners with companies to align real estate decisions that drive growth, efficiency, and long-term value—while keeping a strong focus on what matters most to their people.
Originally from St. Louis, Abby loves her Midwest roots, which continue to influence her today. Now firmly rooted in Houston, she is a proud Texan and deeply invested in the city she calls home. Outside of the office, Abby is honored to serve on the Boards of Directors for the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County and The Women’s Fund. She is deeply passionate about community involvement and a fierce advocate for female empowerment and helping people, believing that success is most meaningful when it creates opportunity and positively impacts others. At her core, Abby is driven by connection—both in business and in life—and enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, especially her husband, Evan, and two daughters, Emma and Madison.
Maria A. Martinez serves as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Administration and Communications at Murphy. Martinez joined the Company in 2010 as Manager, Human Resources, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility. In 2013, she was named Vice President, Human Resources and Administration of Murphy Exploration & Production Company, and in 2018, she was promoted to Vice President, Human Resources and Administration of Murphy Oil Corporation. Martinez assumed her current role in 2025. She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. Martinez also completed the Chief Human Resources Officer Executive Education Program at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and earned the Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard Business School.
Maria is a member of both the American Petroleum Institute and WomenExecs on Boards. She served as the 2024 Chair of the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce and currently leads as the Chair of the Advancement Committee at St. Agnes Academy. Most recently, Maria joined the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society Houston.
Maria and her husband of 25 years are proud parents of two daughters—one is currently a sophomore at The University of Texas at Austin, and the other is a senior at St. Agnes Academy.
