The American Cancer Society’s Mission is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. In 2024, the American Cancer Society Houston Area raised more than $6.3M through local events, individual giving, and corporate initiatives, but the American Cancer Society is currently investing more than $28.6M back into the Houston community – nearly 5X what is being raised here locally.
LOCAL IMPACT
The life-saving funds raised through our Cattle Baron’s Ball events across the country exceeded $22 Million in 2024. Which is monumental in progressing the fight against cancer here in Houston and beyond.
